10am to 11:30 Saturday, October 4 - Public Grand Opening of City Hall

Powder Springs residents, business owners and visitors are invited to the grand opening and open house of the Powder Springs City Hall on Saturday, Oct. 4, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Light refreshments will be served, and attendees will be able to tour City Hall during the event times. Entertainment during this event will include a jazz ensemble in the City Hall lobby area, while Thurman Springs Park will play host to kids games along with the McEachern High School Pep Band on the amphitheater stage. In the immediate future, the City will be scheduling the Gallery area for local community reserved space for meetings and special days for the art to be an open gallery for more leisurely public viewing.
