A Juried Exhibition Celebrating the Vision and Vitality of Women Artists in Georgia.
“Women’s Voices in Art” celebrates the creative power, resilience, and imagination of women artists. This juried exhibition welcomes submissions in all media that reflect the breadth and depth of women’s artistic expression — from traditional fine art to innovative new media. Whether exploring identity, nature, community, or transformation, this show honors how art connects us, heals us, and empowers us to see the world anew.
Presented by: National League of American Pen Women. This exhibition is organized by The Atlanta branch of the NLAPW, a community of women artists — visual, musical, and literary — who come together to inspire, uplift, and support one another. We believe that art heals, connects, and strengthens both individuals and communities.
Juror: Madeleine Kellam. Madeleine Kellam’s artistic journey is a testament to the harmony of science and creativity. With an academic background in anthropology and geology, she chose a career in environmental protection while also becoming an accomplished painter, potter, sculptor, metalsmith, and fiber artist. Madeleine has produced award-winning pieces in ceramics and metal. Her work is a blend of precision and imagination firmly rooted in the beauty of the natural world. Madeleine is also an avid collector of world textiles and tribal jewelry - underappreciated artworks created primarily by and for women.
Join us at the Chastain Arts Center & Gallery on Friday May 15, 2026 at 5:00pm for the opening reception. Show runs from May 8 through July 4, 2026.
